Tech Topic Connection

Cloud Computing

When you talk about the fundamentals of information technology we think on the innovation, the history of computers started in 1822 by an English mathematician Charles Babbage conceives of a steam-driven calculating machine that would be able to compute tables of numbers, the world's first computer was built. In 1890 Herman Hollerith designed a punch card system to calculate the 1880 census, accomplishing the task in just three years and saving the government $5 million. He establishes a company that we all know as IBM.

In today's technology, one of the bigger topics is Cloud Computer. That is a Cloud computer? Cloud computing is a term used to describe the use of hardware and software delivered via the network (usually the Internet).
Put, cloud computing is computing based on the internet. In the past, people would run applications or programs from software downloaded on a physical computer or server in their building. Now Cloud computing allows us to access the same applications through the internet.

The majority of today companies use cloud computing because of the benefits infrastructure. By using cloud infrastructure, you don't have to spend huge amounts of money on purchasing and maintaining equipment. When you have a cloud PC, you can access it from anywhere in as long you have internet access.

As we mention in post # 6 Network Security, Data breaches and other cybercrimes can devastate a company's revenue, customer loyalty, and brand positioning. Cloud offers many advanced security features that give high data securely stored and handled. All the information that passes throw the network is encrypted with authentication access.

One of the some of the advantages and disadvantages of cloud computing is because of the stability of the cloud, and the is no need for a large desktop support staff. Cloud-based solutions are ideal for businesses with growing or fluctuating bandwidth demands. If your business demands increase, you can easily increase your cloud capacity without having to invest in physical infrastructure.

Recovery or Data loss is a major concern for all organizations, along with data security. Storing your data in the cloud guarantees that data is always available, even if your equipment like laptops or PCs, is damaged. Cloud-based services provide quick data recovery. A lot of the data recovery, add or removing pc on the cloud is done by command prompt or script create on PowerShell of Phyton.
